Alberto Di Minin is a Full Professor of Management at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and a Research Fellow with the Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy (BRIE, U.C. Berkeley). His research work deals with the concept of open Innovation, appropriation of Innovation, science and technology policy. Also he works on technology transfer, intellectual property, R&D management, business models, and innovation policy. He analyzes and writes about the Italian and European innovation ecosystem as a freelancer with Il Sole 24 Ore, the main financial daily newspaper in Italy.
Alberto is Co-Editor in Chief of the “R&D Management Journal” and on the International Advisory Board of “California Management Review”. Alberto is also the Italian delegate for Horizon 2020 for innovation in SMEs and access to risk finance, the director of the Galileo Galilei institute at the Chongqing University, and the Director of the Master MIND – Management and Innovation Design.
