On the second day of the 10th International Conference, IRAMOT hosted an expert panel on “Facing Covid-19 Using Technological Solutions”. In the beginning of the session, some national-level after-crisis proceedings as well as some fundamental obstacles for preventive actions were reviewed; for instance lack of trans-multy-itra-disciplinary approach on Iranian administrative atmosphere. This point also was raised that shortsightedness facing Corona, might oblige countries to lose the control of the future. Cooperation between frontline institutions (in the technological issues) was mentioned as the bright-side of the crisis-management and lack of data exchange pointed out as a cause of unfulfilling role of ICTs facing the crisis. In the end, the huge potential of public engagement, contributory role of NGOs and crucial impression of anticipating finance issues, were discussed.
