Since 2002 she has been working in technology transfer projects, participating as a lecturer in summer schools and conferences on the IP management and courses on marketing and new companies creation. Since 2005 she is managing the Knowledge Transfer Office of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. In particular she is responsible for (1) the patent portfolio management and licensing (definition and understanding of patent documents, analysis through patent databases, licensing contracts, IP in EU, national and regional projects and in contract research with companies, revision of university regulations on such themes). (2) Supporting the researchers in spin-off creation and the project design and management on TT themes including training and dissemination activities, definition of IP policies sharing best practices trough networking with other TT offices. (3) Coordination of the activities of the club of the spin-off companies also through the organization of international business to business meetings and other activities that can be included in the so called third mission of the university. Since 2015 she is the coordinator of the joint technology transfer office of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Scuola Normale Superiore and School for advanced studies in Lucca.
